MNP - Mobile Number Portability for Loop subscribers

As an Loop subscriber, now you can change from Loop to other mobile operator without changing your current mobile number.

If you are not an Loop subscriber, choose your Mobile Operator for Number Porting.
If you are Corporate Mobile Subscriber, read Mobile Number Portability for Corporates.

Follow the below simple 3-Step MNP Process to switch your Loop number to other operator, using Mobile Number Porting services.

Unique Porting Code
You need to obtain UPC (Unique Porting Code) to authenticate your ownership to other mobile operator.
Loop-MNP PORT XXXXXXXX to 1909. (Replace X’s with your 10-digit mobile number.)
Loop will send you the UPC by SMS in return.
MNP Application
Call executive / customer care services of your desired Mobile operator, fill CAF (Customer Application Form) and Porting Form or visit their nearest offices. (Loop’s major offices in India) Submit the required documents as well; Photo ID, Address proof, if you are a post-paid customer submit your latest mobile bill & last paid bill receipt also. Once above process is completed, you will be given a New SIM card from your new mobile operator.
Network Change
You will receive an acknowledgement SMS from +1901 on / after 4 days for your porting request. Within 3 days from then, you will receive confirmation SMS from +1901 of your successful porting request. After 12pm midnight, mobile services from Loop will be deactivated and you will have to use the New SIM obtained from another Mobile Operator keeping your current mobile number.

Loop is not allowing MNP of old costumer, by laying down various 1st change to base plan, then wait for 3 month. then they might allow.

Loop Cancelled my 2 request of Porting. Not allowing me to change. I want Idea as my service Provider.

I am doing exactly the opposite… I want to change fro Idea to Loop… Don’t be crazy, Idea has nothing to offer. You will regret after you change. Its way to expensive. Other networks provide better offers and coverage.

My Name is Nrupesh Karia. I had applied for MNP on 4th june 2012, but after more than a month, i cannot use my number. The number is 9172727207.. What to do sir?? I am really frustrated with Loop Mobile..

      Hello Nrupesh Karia,

We believe that you have ported to Uninor and your mobile number 9172727207 is now part of Uninor network. While porting, you must have got a new Uninor SIM; use that SIM.

Those who have posted here and wish to switch form other network to Loop Network, they are going to have hell lot of problems in future.. worst network, abrupt billing and call drops are their routine. we all are frustated with LOop, so be aware while switching to LOOP.. best luck…

      Hello Ajay,

The normal MNP process will take 7 working days, if everything is okay with your porting application.
You ca always contact your mobile operator and check the current status of your request.

Before that, refer to MNP Checklist and ensure you have done it.

please dont go in loop, they give u best plan in tariff or internet, bt you cant use it, service is worst . your internet will nt work, they dont hv windows phone setting, if you think you can use inteernet via mobile, thn forget it, it will never happned.. some time you will get the internet connection , you go every where, like fort ,cst, dadar, vashi or borivali, no network, if you speak for 10 min, then it will disconnect automatically , i did the mistake, waiting for the 90 days…
